hg post 5

Socrates lived in Athens loyal to Athens democratic government. visitors all over the world came to Athens to learn odd jobs and your traditional trait jobs. Socrates was charged with two crimes, corruption of Athens youth and impiety ( not believing in the gods of the state ). His defense "its my job to be the gadfly to the lazy, sluggish hours that is Athens. A jury of five hundred male citizens found him guilty 279- 221 Socrates was sentenced to death by poison. He had the opportunity to escape, but he refused, proving his loyalty to athenian democracy. also today we got a new student in our class I guess our class is just the best, and we went through the notes that took us three days took us fifteen minutes today. Also Socrates had all of his closes friends with him when he drank the poison at his death on prison.
